Starting over

First off I want to thank everyone for their kind words and support. I hope everyone is doing well but I have to check everyone's blogs as I haven't been online for quite some time. We have been nonstop house searching, using the internet mainly for getting new leads on houses. We are done being devastated and are moving on to better things, proactive things. Will still probably have to get a lawyer though...seller guy has become a total choad. The sales contract is void and I go pick up the earnest money check tomorrow. Have a few leads on houses but Im not saying much more as I dont want to jinx anything. The plants I have managed to save are doing well and I am looking forward to starting more as soon as I have a place. I will update later tonight after work as its soon to be my weekend.

I have to walk away from the house. He is unwilling to let us take possession because his wife and attorney are telling him that it isn't how things are usually done...Well you dont put a house on the market that you can't deliver on. I told Dana the realtor that she can tell them that I want money for the gutters and for the fee Im going to get charged by the bank...about $800. I will get my earnest money back she said. I forgot I paid a chunk for the house inspection. I told her the seller could pay the money and I will walk away OR if he doesn't I will come after him with a lawyer (which will include the money, court costs AND mental anguish) So now we have to find a place to live or face another yeah bunkered here (which is completely unacceptable) I set the plants out these past few days to get good sun and strengthen up a bit. I have dragged my planters out and acquired some good potting soil. I don't know what else to do, I have failed.

It was bound to happen

So I finally snapped. I was doing ok plugging along and then Bill started talking about he was unpacking the boxes in 6 days and that we will just have to stay here another year and try again. (So then my wedding would be effectively off til then) The house is a mess, I was trying to cook dinner and do laundry and clean. Then I found that the cats had tipped over the cat box and I lost it. Threw the vacuum, screamed about the state of my world and how no one is doing their jobs in the house, how tired I was about cleaning all the time and no one helping and how much I hated living here now and threatened to get rid of my cats and dissolved into a puddle of tears in the bathroom. Bill and Teen have never seen me lose it and I don't think they knew what to do. Bill had to go in to work for overtime (he doesn't get many chances to) and he tried to put me right before he had to run. So I saw him off and grabbed a shower...allowed the Teen to do my hair and got out of the damn house. I went to the local cafe and chowed on Hummus Kalaya and Teen had a 4 cheese mini pizza. Went to say happy birthday to my friend Maja and then came home. I envision that Wed will be better as I have a plan to repot some of the seedlings and be outside as much as I can.

And because Im trying ...

- 1 1/2 cups of crazy
- 2 heaping tablespoons of flirting
- a heaping teaspoon of humor

Blend together quickly and serve.
'What is your personality recipe?' at
The seller has given the go ahead to have the kids served papers. Then him and the lawyer are suppose to look into getting legal contracts drawn up for us to take possession. But they seem to be back pedaling a little when it comes to the rent free part. My beloved Bill cannot take much more of this and its been taking quite a toll on him. We both worry that he will meltdown. Everytime we seem to get hope we get the rug yanked back out. Kinda feel like Charlie Brown and Lucy playing football. I have asked to meet with the seller and lawyer face to face as soon as possible. One of the reasons I loathe to walk away is I love the place and the other is I stand to lose quite a bit of money if this falls apart. I would have to pay for the title work, appraisals and lose the money and time I put in for the gutters. Close to a grand in total. Hard to walk away from. Everyone says we could sue but that also takes money. Bill says he absolutely will not go through this again and he has said it has been the second most horrific ordeal he's been through, and this guy has been through a LOT. His absolute one fear is being homeless, absolutely terrifies him. Oh, and as I have to get a place in my name, I can't get married until this is my wedding is on hold.

Here's the whole problem

Man and a woman get married have a home have 1 son and 1 daughter
Kids get married
Daughter has 3 kids then dies young, father of kids takes kids and leaves town and they dont return. One of the kids stays in touch with their uncle
Man dies and leaves half of house to Woman and the other half to split between the Son and the Daughters kids
Woman dies and has a will leaving everything to Son (cuz those kids never did come round)
So now Son has 3/4 and the other 1/4 belongs to 3 kids
2 of the kids supposedly said fine with that, 1 kid says "I want more money than this" and got into a shouting match with the Son’s Lawyer.
Son is going to have to go to court in order to get it taken care of and that could take 30-90 days if it goes to court.

And now my world has gone to hell in a handbasket.

We are trying to work this. They have offered to let us take possession and live there rent free til this is settled especially since we have already sunk money in on it (remember the gutters yeah I paid and put those up with my family) ..contracts would be made up for this. Unless these damn greedy bastards get their heads on straight which could happen when they realize they have to get a lawyer, drive up from Memphis TN, etc. Im not holding my breath...people for the most part are greedy ruthless creatures. That is with the exception of you guys.

4:30 am

Still not tired I created a playlist...its not everything that I listen to but some stuff that I decided to throw down. My tastes are fairly ecclectic however I didn't put any of my opera/musical/orchaestral stuff nor did I put the bluegrass cuz I cant find the ones I want but anyway have a look see. Feel free to give suggestions on other bands cuz it will give me something pleasant to do.
