Weeellll.....
So my birthday came and went. The day before and today were pretty good but my actual birthday day was a little depressing. We have been spending a lot lately, catching up on bills and the regular odds and ends...well to make a long story short, my nifty little stimulus check is gone..can't say exactly that we blew it but man I should have been paying closer attention. I was pretty devestated and Bill wasn't... Not mad at all. But things are looking better today. And Bill and the Teen cheered me up with cool and thoughtful gifts. A motivational poster starring ME!!, a new pair of jeans, some peat pellets and Homemade greenhouses out of roasting pans. Oh....and I should be making 2 very cool announcements tomorrow after I get off of work cuz I dont think I will make it home in time to post it before then...sorry!

60 seconds
So the termite inspection came back there was evidence of termite, from a stump left near the house. 2 brand new runs and no structural damage it looks like they were just getting to the house. Seller is paying for treatment, hopefully removing stump lol. So now its just the appraisal to do. I worked until 2am today then go back in and work 1:30pm to midnight. I will keep you updated.

Sunday
Happy Mother's Day to my readers who are moms and also to those like me who take care of other peoples children because we love them. I have to be at work today in about an hour or so so this will be short. I got a bundle of seeds from Tammie over at the Unusual Farmchick...you don't know how much it has touched me. I seriously almost cried. It's a kindness and a sense of community that I haven't felt in so long. You, my readers and bloggers, are my neighbors. This trailer court I live in is so disconnected that we barely have any interaction with the people who live around us. It's not how I grew up and I look forward to moving ...and then of course I have all of you. Thank you very much.

We go Friday to place yet another bid on a house...this will be my final attempt. Actually I had already flipped out this morning on Bill and said I was done. But he somehow got me talked into it. So I went over the budget to see if this would be something doable because its gonna cost more than the original house we wanted. Its a MUCH nicer house but with less land and not rural :( I think I will have to give up my dream of chickens and some other things as well. Right now Im down to just really wanting a home for my family...and to get married.

Grumble
Plants are still doing well. My greek oregano and the sage overwintered fantastically. On the house front we are still looking. Had another one picked but it ended up being in a flood plain and the insurance would be WAY too expensive. Grrr Arghhhh!
